Henry Edward "Butch" Vananda, Jr., age 68, of Knoxville, born November 30, 1946, passed away Thursday, September 24, 2015, in Murfreesboro, TN. Butch retired from Formall Plastics after 40 years and served three tours in Vietnam with the US Navy.

Preceded in death by: parents, Henry Edward and Lois Linginfelter Vananda; sister, Doris Padgett; and brother-in-law, Col. Robert Thompson. He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Judy Johnson Vananda; daughter, Judy Heatherly and husband, Darrell; sons, Eddie Vananda III and Randall Vananda; grandsons, Eddie Vananda IV, Dylan Badali, Brian Badali & fiancée, Brittany Adams, and her father, John Adams; granddaughters, Savannah, Sabrina, and Sarah Heatherly; sister, Phyllis Vananda Thompson; brother-in-law, Robert E. Padgett; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Family and friends will assemble for graveside service and interment at 2:00 PM, Monday, September 28, 2015 at Tuckaleechee United Methodist Church Cemetery in Townsend, TN with Tom Everett officiating.
