Jay Hammontree - Class of 1974

Jay Blevins "Pete" (Petepaw) Hammontree, age 59, went home Sunday, February 28, while surrounded by his family. Pete was a long time attendee of Faith Promise Church and an employee for the Town of Farragut for 23 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Iva; and his brother Jack. Pete is survived by his wife of 29 years, Joy; children, Brandon and Lori, Whitney and Shannon, and Logan; grandchildren, Connor, Kyler, Nicholas, Kasey, and Caden; brother, Johnny; and sister, Debbie; and other loving family.

The family will receive friends on Thursday from 5:30-7:00 p.m. at Click Funeral Home Farragut Chapel with a celebration of life service to follow at 7:00 p.m. with his brother, Kevin Trostle officiating.
