ROMANELLO, Glenda Moyers
passed away Sunday May 8, 2016. Glenda was the loving wife of Antonio 'Tony' Romanello, and mother of Lorrie Romanello and Lisa Stedman. She was born in Middlesboro, KY, Feb. 12, 1941. She was raised in Knoxville, TN where she graduated in 1959 from Rule High School and attended the University of Tennessee. While visiting relatives in Tampa, she fell in love with Tony, her husband of 53 years. She retired from the Hillsborough County Public School District. She was a devout Christian, and a member of Belmont Baptist Church, where she also volunteered. Glenda had a love of life and everything she did, she did out of love never expecting anything in return. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles W. and Ruby Moyers; grandson, Joseph Cameron Porter; Harriet Brimm (Aunt); Chucky and Skip Moyers (nephews). Survivors include her amazing husband, Tony; daughters, Lorrie (David) and Lisa Stedman (Jason); granddaughter, Julia; great-grandaughter, Adryanna; her beloved brothers and sisters-in-law, Charles (Mabel), Argus (Joyce), and Earl (JoAnn); sister-in-law, Pauline (Richard), and brother-in-law Alfonso Romanello; numerous nieces and nephews; her loving cousin, Jean Meade; her high school best friend, Eva Grant Lee; and her confidante, and loving neighbor, Jeanette Rush. Glenda will be greatly missed by her friends and family. We would like to thank Cameron's Assisted Living for their loving care. Visitation will be Saturday, May 14, from 12 noon to 1 pm followed by funeral services at 1 pm at Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4207 E. Lake Avenue, Tampa, 33610.
