Jack Edward Martin, age 87, of Knoxville, passed away on July 12, 2016 at the Ben Atchley Veterans Home. He was the son of the late Edward Lillard and Ada Virginia Sharrett Martin. He attended Rule High School and Knoxville Business School. Mr. Martin proudly served his country in the United States Army as an engineer during the Korean War. He also worked in the trucking industry for many years. He attended Cornerstone Christian Church, and was a Master Mason since September 19, 1968. Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Imagene Long and a sister, Helen V. Watts. Survivors include his fiance' Bobbie Faye Clare.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 18, 2016 from 5:00 – 7:00 in the chapel of Berry Lynnhurst Funeral Home with Pastor Jeremy Cox officiating the 7:00 pm Funeral Service. Interment will be held on Tuesday at 10:00 am in Greenwood Cemetery.
