Ernest Leon Fair, age 87, of Knoxville, TN passed away Wednesday, November 1, 2017 at Westmoreland Health and Rehab. He was a Navy veteran retiring from the Seabee Reserve. Retired from Martin Marietta Oak Ridge National Lab., X-10. Member of Charles McKinny Lodge/Scottish Rite for 50 plus years. He was a member of Wallace Memorial Baptist Church and former member of Sevier Heights and Euclid Avenue Baptist Church. Preceded in death by his parents, W.M. Fair and Grace Loop Fair; sister, Madlyn Fair. Survived by wife, Laura DoorenBos Fair; daughters, Jenny (David) Keller of Kingston, TN, Ginger (Danny) Mullins of Lexington. S.C.; brother, Bill (Barbara) Fair; sister, Juanita (Chas) Braswell; grandsons, Paul and Aaron Mullins. Leon loved his family, reading, studying the Bible, playing golf and music. Visitation will be held Tuesday at Weaver's chapel from 10:00-11:00 am with service to follow at 11:00 am. Rev. Kent Williams officiating.
