Knoxville - George Arlin Corum, age 77, of Dandridge, formally of Halls, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 17, 2022, at Sacred Ground Hospice House.

He was a member of Rule High School class of 1962. He was employed by Alcoa Aluminum for 36 years before retirement.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Clara (Susie) Bayless Corum; parents, George and Virgie Mendenhall Corum; sisters, Frances Scott and Shirley Hawn; brothers-in-law, Samuel Carrier, Conald Hawn, Roger Witt and Claude Scott.

Survivors include daughter and son-in-law, Melinda and Paul Kennard; daughter, Jennifer Corum; grandchildren, Benjamin Kennard, Samuel and Jill Cruikshank; sister, Barbara Carrier; brother and sister-in-law, Paul and Linda Corum; sister-in-law, Pat Witt; several nieces and nephews.

Friends and family will meet on Sunday, February 20, 2022, at 12:45 pm at Greenwood Cemetery for a 1:00pm graveside service with Pastor Brad Bales officiating.
