Wanda Bowling - Class of 1959

Wanda (Bowling) Day, age 80, of Knoxville, Tennessee went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, May 18, 2022. Wanda was born June 30, 1941. She was of the Baptist faith. Wanda graduated from Rule High School then received her Associates Degree from Draughons Business College.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 63 years, Hiram Day Jr.; daughter, Kelly Weaver; grandsons, Christopher Heath and Sean Rogers; parents, Boyd and Opal Bowling; brothers, Charles and Phillip Bowling; best friend, Emily Houck Ellison.

Wanda is survived by children, Hiram (Sheila) Day, Michael (Tammy) Day, Emily (Tim) Rowe; step daughter, Lisa (Chuck) Merritt; grandchildren, Stephen Day, Scott Heath, Noah Day, Bridget Edwards, Jade Cooper, Joseph Day, Hanna Day, Tiffany Watkins, James White, Chris Fox and Cody Gwinn; 15 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; best friends, Libby Blosser, Vickie Jones, and David Jamison.

The family would like to thank her caregiver, Leslie Works for her love and friendship.

The family will receive friends Friday, May 20th from 12-12:45pm at Berry Lynnhurst Funeral Home with graveside service immediately following at 1pm at Lynnhurst Cemetery.
