Betty Tallent Rader passed away August 26, 2022 at home surrounded by relatives and friends. She was a member of Beaumont Avenue Baptist Church. She was Church Treasurer and WMU Treasurer, and participated in the Sunshine Club. She was a member of Eastern Star. She retired as an accountant at Cherokee Country Club. She enjoyed attending the Rule High Class Reunions. Preceded in death by her husband, Gene Rader, and her son Brad Rader; parents, Carl and Beatrice Tallent. She is survived by her son, Mike Rader; brothers: Tom Tallent (Angie) and Jim Tallent and several nieces, nephews and many friends. Family will receive friends Tuesday in Weaver’s Chapel from 5:00-7:00 pm with service to follow. Reverend Ron Russell officiating. Family and friends will meet at 1:45 pm Wednesday at New Gray Cemetery for a 2:00 pm interment. A special thanks to those who helped care for Betty since her husband Gene passed.
