Clyde Joseph Goosie, born June 1, 1956, aged 67, of Powell passed away on Wednesday, January 30, 2024. Joe was known for his love of horses, good dogs, and good fellowship with friends. Joe loved life and loved to make others laugh. Joe was a man of his word if he said he was going to be there, he would be. Joe had a kind, and quiet spirit full of patience and understanding. Joe always spoke with so much wisdom. He spent many hours at the barn helping others learn to read and connect with the horse, and teaching horsemanship . Teaching to be humble and grateful, because everything is a gift from God. There were many kids that he taught about the horse that he referred to as his “barn kids”. Joe loved his wife Earlene, son Joey, and his grandkids fiercely. Joe loved deeply and was loved by my others. He was a brother, a husband, a dad, a grandfather, and a friend. He will be greatly missed by all. He was preceded in death by his parents Clyde F. and Lela K. Goosie; sister Pat Richey. Clyde is survived by his wife of 44 years Joyce Earlene Goosie; son Joey (Candice) Goosie; grandchildren Austin, Jenna, and Whitt Goosie, and Wesley Pollard; siblings Bill (Linda) Goosie, Jimmy (Glenda) Goosie, Kaye (Dale) Coleman and Kathy (Joe) Moody and special friend Rick Elmore. The family will receive friends on Sunday, February 11, 2024 from 4:00pm to 6:00pm at Mynatt Funeral Home, Powell Chapel with a 6pm Celebration of Life. Online condolences and memories can be left for the family at mynattfh.com
