JONES, MARVIN DERRILL - age 62 of Knoxville, passed away Saturday morning, January 1, 2011. Mr. Jones was preceded in death by his parents, Marvin Garrett and Roetta Jones of Knoxville. Survived by his two children, Chris Jones of Austin and Leigh Ayn Phillips of Atlanta; a brother, Jim Ford of Maynardville; a sister, Traci Smith of Knoxville; and three grandchildren. The family will receive friends Friday, January 7, 2011 from 10:30 AM until 11:30 AM with a memorial service following at Gentry-Griffey Funeral Chapel. His memory will be cherished by all of those who knew him. The family request that any memorials be sent to the National Kidney Foundation in honor of NFT patient Linda Allen at www.transplants.org.
