LOY, JACK - age 73 of Knoxville, passed away Sunday at Mercy Hospice. He was a member of Elm Street Baptist Church, a U. S. Army veteran and retired from St. Mary's Medical Center after 32 years of service. Preceded in death by his mother and step-father, Flossie and Cas Ridenour. Survived by his wife, Grace Loy; son, Jeff Loy; three granddaughters, Lindsey, Brooke and Lauren; sister, Jewell Shipley; special brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Howard and Della Maples and special sisters-in-law, Carol Adkins and Betty Nix. Funeral services 7 pm Saturday, August 27, 2011 in the Fountain City Chapel of Mynatt Funeral Home. Rev. David Cardwell officiating. Family and friends will meet at 1:45 pm Sunday at Greenwood Cemetery for interment at 2 pm.
