BEDWELL, ROBERT "HUB" - was born April 25, 1930 and went home to his Father's everlasting arms on December 8, 2011. Shortly after high school, Hub served in the U. S. Navy for 2 years and retired from Norfolk Southern Railroad after 43 years of dedicated service. He spent his life being a loyal Husband and a loving Father and Grandfather. His life's mission was befriending others and lifting them up. He never failed to take a stand for what he thought was right. He was preceded in death by his Mother Essie Lee Bedwell and his Father Andrew Bedwell. He will always be loved and dearly missed by those who survived him: His loving Wife of 59 Years Billie Jean Bedwell, Son Jerry Bedwell and Wife Susan, Son Danny Bedwell, Son Tony Bedwell and Wife Kristine, Daughter Shannon Talley and Husband David, Special Grandson Benjamin Bedwell, Brother Bill Bedwell and Wife Charlotte, Brother Gene Bedwell and Wife Glenda and Sister Joyce Grubb and Husband Claude as well as many other family members, neighbors and friends that he made through the years. Family and friends will meet at 1:45 pm Sunday at Lynnhurst Cemetery for a graveside service at 2 pm. Rev. Benjamin Wethington officiating. In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to Second Harvest Food Bank. Family will receive friends 6 to 8 pm Saturday at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel. www.mynattfh.com
