WIRES, ERNIE - age 59 of Knoxville, passed away Wednesday June 6, 2012 at Physicians Regional Medical Center after a brief illness. He retired from KUB with over 20 years service, he was the owner of Wires Underground Construction, he was also a U.S. Air Force Veteran. He is survived by sons, Sherman Neal Wires and wife Shannon, Josh Ernest Wires and wife Brandy; grandchildren, Shelby, Dylan, Bella, Chase, and Westin Wires; mother of children, Phyllis Angela Wires; sisters, Maxine Bounds and Jerri Nichols; special friend, Doris Lewis; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held at 7:00 p.m. Saturday Rose Mortuary Broadway Chapel with Reverend Jimbo Duncan officiating. Family and friends will leave Rose Mortuary Broadway Chapel at 1:45 p.m. Sunday and proceed to Ridenour Cemetery for Graveside Services at 3:00 p.m. with full military honors conducted by the Volunteer State Veterans Honor Guard.
