Don Towe

My close personal friend Don Towe passed away Thursday morning at
approx 2 a.m..

Don and his wife Shirley both went to Rule, Don was supposed to
graduate in the class of 55 or 56. I understand they both quit in 55
and got married.

Don was part owner of Towe Iron Works down on western avenue.

Don attended West Haven Baptist and was a Deacon there until about
4 years ago when they left to go to Inskip Baptist.

TOWE, DONALD WAYNE, SR. - age 76 ,went home to be with the Lord on March 14, 2013. He is preceded in death by parents, Lawrence and Margaret Towe; brothers, Lawrence Towe Jr. and Richard Towe; and sister, Frances Jenkins. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Shirley Fay Towe; son and daughter-in-law, Donnie and Angie Towe; daughter, Susie Towe; son and daughter-in-law, Chris and Kim Towe; son, Seth Towe; brother and sister-in-law, David and Faye Towe and Jewel Towe; grandchildren, Dustin Towe and wife, Tesha, Ashley Towe, Erin Shoun, Mikel Towe, Reid Shoun, Leah Towe, Jonathan Towe, Abbey Towe and Ryder Towe; great grandchildren, Colby, Hannah, and Ella. He was a part owner of Towe Iron Works where he worked for 51 years until he retired in 2004. He was a member of Inskip Baptist Church. The family will receive friends from 5:00 - 7:00 at Weaver's Funeral Home on Friday, March 15, with a celebration of life to follow. Friends and family will gather at Greenwood Cemetery 10:00 Saturday morning for a brief graveside service. Ed Cloud will be officiating.
