Knoxville - Juanita Jean Black Boring, age 87, of Knoxville, died Sunday, March 21, 2021. Juanita dedicated her life to serving others as a Registered Nurse for over sixty years. She truly enjoyed nursing and educating the next generation of nurses as an educator with Walters State Community College for many years. Juanita retired from Crawford Insurance Company and the Knox County Juvenile Detention Center and was known to be generous to many in her life. She is survived by several nieces and nephews and other family members. The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM Saturday, March 27, 2021 at Rose Funeral and Cremation Mann Chapel with funeral service to follow. Reverend Dr. Alan Smith officiating. The family suggests that in lieu of flowers, please make a contribution to Young-Williams Animal Center, 3201 Division Street, Knoxville, TN 37919. Arrangements by Rose Funeral and Cremation-Mann.
