Gloria’s Obituary
On Wednesday, March 31, 2021, Gloria Ann Porterfield went to be with Jesus. Born February 4, 1947, Gloria was a woman who touched the lives of many people in multiple countries. She had a huge heart for the children of Belize and was a masterful seamstress, using her God-given talent to create beautiful dresses for children while also spreading the word of God’s love. Sharp-witted and feisty to the end, Gloria could not help but make an impression on everyone she met. She loved her family and Jesus with all her heart, and she will be dearly missed by those who knew and loved her. Gloria is preceded in death by her parents, Lorenzo and Carrie Porterfield, and her daughter, Jami Nicholas. She is survived by her brother, Charlie (Mona) Porterfield; her daughters, Maria Roberts and Sheri (Enrico) Deburcheo; her son, Tim (Jennifer) Porterfield; grandsons, Shane (Lauren) Smith and Christopher (Kayla) Marsh; granddaughters Rowyn and Aiwin Porterfield; great-grandsons Jace, Isaiah, and Nolan; and nieces Melissa (Toby) Wise and Carrie (Brandon) Shaver.
