Knoxville - Willie "Larry" Sutton - age 75 of Knoxville passed away peacefully at home on Monday, April 19, 2021. Preceded in death by parents, Hugh and Juanita Sutton; brothers, Howard and John Sutton; and great grandson, Derrick Bowerman. Survived by loving wife of 57 years, Barbara Sutton; sons, Wayne (Suzy) Sutton, and Scott Sutton; daughter, Wendy Sutton; grandsons, Andrew Sutton, Wesley Sutton and Hunter Bowerman; granddaughters, Jordan (Hagan) Owenby, Karly Sutton, and Alexandria Bowerman; loving sister, Barbara Duggan; and many nieces and nephews. Special thank you to Dr. Robert Alley, Nurse Jade, Tennova Hospice, and Pastor Jared Shumate with Valley View Baptist Church. Also, thank you to all our family and friends for all the kindness and prayers. The family will receive friends 1:00-3:00 PM Sunday, April 25, 2021, at Bridges Funeral Home followed by the funeral service at 3:00 PM. Family and friends will meet 9:00 AM Monday at Bridges Funeral Home and go in procession to East TN Veteran Cemetery-John Sevier for a 10:00 AM interment.
