Johnny Eugene Cochran, Sr., 81, of Knoxville passed away February 11, 2022. He was a retired Sergeant from the Knoxville Police Department where he served for 32 years. He was an Electrician and an avid woodworker. Johnny was preceded in death by his parents, Edith & James Cochran; grandson, William Cochran and 9 brothers and sisters. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Patricia Cochran; children, Sherry Mash (David), Johnny Cochran, Jr. (Lori), James Cochran (Donna) and Robert Cochran (Dawn); sister, Margie Coffey; 15 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; 1 great great-grandchild and many nieces, nephews, and other family members. Graveside Services will be held 11:00AM Tuesday, February 15, 2022, at Greenwood Cemetery with full police honors. Family requests donations to be made in his name to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
