Harold Scarlett - Class of 1966
Posted: Tue Feb 15, 2022 2:33 pmJames Harold Scarlett, age 73 of Knoxville, went to be with his Heavenly Father on Sunday, February 6, 2022. He was a member of Glen Oak Baptist Church and attended Eastmore Church of God. He was a United States Air Force Veteran and retired from American National Insurance Company. James was preceded in death by his wife, Della Scarlett; daughter, Kimberly (Scarlett) Robinson; and parents, Edd and Grace Scarlett. He is survived by his sons, James “Jimmy” Scarlett and Chris Scarlett; daughter, Melissa Scarlett; grandchildren, Tristan, Cassie, and Scarlett; two great grandchildren; brother, David Scarlett and sisters, Gerri DePew and Ruth Turner-Garrett. Family will receive friends Monday, February 14, 2022 at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm with a service to follow at 7:00 pm with Rev. Greg Causey officiating. Family and friends will meet Tuesday, February 15, 2022 at East Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery 2200 E Governor John Sevier Hwy, Knoxville, TN 37920 for a 2:00 pm graveside service with full military honors presented by Volunteer State War Era Veterans Honor Guard.
