Wanda Sue Roop, age 78 of Dawsonville, GA passed away at her home on February 24, 2022. Wanda was born in Knoxville, TN in 1943. She was a member of Bethany Baptist Church and she lived every day by her faith. Wanda retired from A T & T after 29 years of service.

She is survived by her husband Charles Roop of 62 years. Sons Randall Roop (Dana) of Canton, GA, Duane Roop (Suzette) of Concord, NC, Terry Roop (Levada) of Ball Ground, GA. She is also survived by her sister Dortha (Frank) Graham of Knoxville, TN and Bob (Brenda) Grant of Knoxville, TN. Grandchildren Austin (Mary) Roop of Arlington, VA, Haley Roop (Tyler LaLone) of Kannapolis, NC, Holden (Kerrie) Roop of Ball Ground, Jordan (Josh) Newberry of Ball Ground, GA. Wanda is also survived by great grand children and many nieces and nephews. Wanda is preceded in death by her father and mother Robert and Elsie Grant of Knoxville, TN. Sister, Lousie (Kenneth) Brooks of Canton, GA.

The family will receive friends and loved ones on Friday, February 25th from 4 to 8. Service will be Saturday, February 26th at 11:00 at Canton Funeral Home and Cemetery at Macedonia Memorial Park, 10655 East Cherokee Drive, Canton, GA 30115.
