Asa Linebarger - Class of 1955

Asa W. Linebarger, age 85, of Knoxville, Tennessee passed away on Thursday, March 10, 2022. Asa was born October 15, 1936.
Asa was a devoted and loving husband to Carolyn for 58 years. He was a long standing member of Wallace Memorial Baptist Church and member of the Faithful Followers group. He was the best Father to daughter Melissa and loved her husband Doug as if he were his own child. Asa loved going on cruises with his family and found extended family to enjoy those adventures with. After retiring from Y-12 with 30 years of service he enjoyed his morning trips to the local Hardee's where he enjoyed coffee and good friends. Asa was a generous and loving man who took care of everyone around him. He is already missed by those who loved him dearly.
Asa is survived by his wife, Carolyn Linebarger; daughter, Melissa (Doug) Tesch; and furbaby, Woody.
A graveside service will be held for Asa on Tuesday, March 15, 2022 at 3pm, with Dr. Jim McCluskey officiating, at Berry Highland Memorial Cemetery.
