Franklin Stephen McFall -age 80 of Lenoir City, passed away Monday, March 21, 2022. Steve attended Rule High School in Knoxville. After graduation he joined the United States Air Force serving 4 years and was a member of the Air Force Boxing Team. He attended Knoxville Business College receiving a degree in business management. Steve worked in management with K-Mart Corporation for 32 years. He was an avid golfer and worked for the past few years at Avalon and Gettysvue Golf Clubs. He has missed playing golf in the past years with his buddies: Brad, Neil, Adam and Steve. Steve was a Mason and member of McKinney Masonic Lodge #433 F & AM. Preceded in death by his son, Stephen Christopher McFall; parents, Burl and Lyda McFall; mother-in-law, Mrs. Ann Avery Norwood Bailey; father-in-law, James H. Bailey. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Margie McFall; son and daughter-in-law, Jason and Amy McFall and their son, Justin T. McFall; daughter, Stephanie L. Merckson and her daughters, Megan, Sarah, Katy and Audrey; 9 great grandchildren; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Betsy and Henry Hope. The family would like to thank his friend, Lenard all his support, Dr. Natalie Judy and Avalon Nurses and the staff of the Neighborhood in Tellico Village. There will be a graveside service for family and friends at 10 am on Saturday, April 9th in the Lenoir Family Cemetery in Lenoir City. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the Lenoir Family Cemetery Beautification Committee in care of Margie McFall or Beverly Gamble.
