She retired from East Tennessee Trucks and was a 1957 graduate of Rule High School. She was a proud native of the Bluffton, Tennessee and member of Marble City Baptist Church.
Emma is preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth E. and Cleo Caughron; her husband of 53 years, Donald M. Tobler; and grandparents, Jacob and Allie Hall.
She leaves to cherish her memories: sons and daughters-in-law, Rick and Mary Ann Tobler of Clarksville, TN, and Brian and Julia Tobler of Knoxville; brother, Gayle Caughron of Knoxville; grandchildren, Sam and Melody Young of Clarksville, TN, Taylor, Kyle and Haley Tobler of Winters, California, Megan Blackwell of Atlanta, Max Garland of Indianapolis, and John Tobler of Clarksville; great-grandchildren, Avery, Oakley and Hattie Young of Clarksville, Emma Tobler of Clarksville, Jax and Ellie Tobler of Petaluma, CA, and Graham Tobler of Napa, CA; nieces and nephews, Brandon Lemons, Tanya Scates and Janel Baker, all of Knoxville, Tim Tobler and Cindy Tobler of Richmond, KY, Vickie Johnson of St. Petersburg, Florida, Kenny Caughron, and Ellen Caughron of Knoxville; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, May 21, 2022 from 11 - 12:30pm with a funeral service to follow at Berry Highland Memorial, 5315 Kingston Pike. A graveside service will be held at 1pm in Berry Highland Memorial Cemetery.
