He is preceded in death by his parents; Thelma and Charles Turner, sisters; Lois Swaggerty and Barbara Kidd, brothers; Ray, Jack, Jim, and Don Turner.
He is survived by sisters; Linda Neff and Mary Lane, brother John (Linda) Turner, his constant companion Droogie, and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
