Patsy Jane Hickman Long- 88, of Mascot gained her Heavenly Angel Wings Friday, September 1, 2023. She was a dedicated member of New Corinth Baptist Church. Patsy was a graduate of Rule High School and a member of The National Honors Society. She served as WMU Director for Mercer Baptist in Harrodsburg, KY, and ACT Teens Leader in several churches where she attended. Patsy supported and promoted the Mission Agency of the Southern Baptist Convention. She was also Associate Librarian of the New Orleans Baptist Theology Seminary.

Preceded in death by her loving husband, Rev. Wm. Raymond Long; son, Frederick Scott Long; parents, Frederick and Harriet Hickman; brother, Dr. Charles Hickman; and sister, Judy Lynn Miller.

Survived by daughter, Patti (Brandon) Ford; sisters, Barbara Rose, Faye Hickman, and Joann Moyers; grandchildren, Wm. Zachary Bradley, and Abby Lynn Ford; great grandchild, Victoria Bradley; several nieces and nephews; special friends, Don and Brenda Cameron, Greg and Jada Bates and Phil Cantwell; and grand dog, Harley.

The family would like to thank UT Hospice and Senior Home Assistance for their loving care.

Friends may call from 2:00-4:00 PM, Wednesday, September 6, 2023 at Bridges Funeral Home. The family and friends will meet 12:15 PM, Thursday, September 7, 2023 at Bridges Funeral Home and go in procession to Lynnhurst Cemetery for a 1:00 PM graveside service with Don Cameron officiating.
