Fred Doyle Human, Sr., age 89, of Powell, passed away on Friday, April 19, 2024, at UT Medical Center.

Fred was a graduate of Rule High School class of 1953, News Sentinel All East Tennessee Football 1952 Rule High School, All City Football Team 1952 Rule High School, Quarterback of the year 1952 Rule High School, inducted into Knoxville Greater Sports Hall of Fame in 2013, TSSAA Basketball Official for 30 years, TSSAA Football Official for 18 years, and retired from Plasti-Line, Inc. with 46 years of service.

Preceded in death by wife, E. Jeanette Bailey Human, married 13 days short of 70 years; parents, Henry Condon Human, Sr. and Callie Elizabeth Buckles Human; sisters, Nellie Mae Wright (Lloyd), Edith Ida Townsend, Betty Ruth Payne (Tommy) and Dorothy Jean Statum (Bill); brothers, Isaac Wylie “Cub” Human (Pearl), James Robert “Shakee” Human (Dot), Henry Condon “Hank” Human, Jr. (Alice) and Charles Ray Human.

Survived by daughter, Vicki King (Gene); son, Fred Human (Debbie); grandsons, Brad Dake (Andrea), Matthew Dake (Stevie) and Travis Holloway (Rachelle); granddaughters, Stacey Stonerock and Kim Morton (Bryan); great grandsons, Gage Morton, Archer Dake; Ryland Holloway; great granddaughters, Kenzie Morton, Carlee Morton, Enzleigh Holloway, Bailey Dake and Kodi Dake; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

The family will receive friends from 6:00pm to 8:00pm on Tuesday, April 23, 2024, at Mynatt Funeral Home Powell Chapel, 2000 Powell Dr., Powell, TN 37849. Family and friends will meet on Wednesday, April 24, 2024, at 10:45am at Highland Memorial Cemetery, Southerland Ave., for an 11:00am graveside service with Rev. Roy Gose officiating.
