Catherine McGuffin a former teacher at Rule passed away November 3rd. She was 89. She was one of the better teachers during my school term. She taught math, algebra, etc. I saw her about five years ago and she still remembered me and asked about several others that she remembered.

Yes, she was the red head. She had never married. John Norman ('58) said he remembered her well, she flunked him in 2nd year algebra.
Another era has passed. I saw that Earl Ramsey of Carl and Earl's Barber Shop on Schofield Ave. died November 6th. He was 71 years of age. Carl has been deceased about 15 years or so. I know all you OLD DUDES remember these two guys. Earl was very mischevious. We all wore flatops but when you sat in Earl's chair and told him you wanted a flatop you could expect a burr or a scalp. We old dudes spent a lot of time in their shop as it was a gathering place.

Those sure were the good ole days. What a hang-out and it was. Sure a sign we are getting older.
