Darlene Crippen Dagnan sister of Connie Crippen Mitchell (RHS 1961)

DAGNAN, DARLENE CRIPPEN - age 64 of Knoxville, passed away unexpectedly at her home on March 8, 2010. She attended Rule and Bearden High Schools. She was the owner of Darlene's Interiors and was recently employed by Town House Interiors. Darlene was one of the lead designers in Knoxville for many years. Her experience and dedication had been expressed through her devotion to Childrens' Hospital, The Fantasy of Trees, Knoxville Showcase and the Knoxville Symphony Orchestra. She was a member of the Knoxville Akima Club, a women's volunteer service organization. We will miss your laugh and the way you could light up a room! We will always cherish your precious memories. Preceded in death by her father, Roy Crippen. She is survived by her daughters, Melissa Miller, DeAnna Fagiana and son Matthew Dagnan; also survived by her mother, Letrice Crippen and her sister, Connie Mitchell. She leaves 5 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren and a host of many wonderful and dear friends. She was a member of Knoxville Christian Center. Family and friends will gather 2:45 pm Saturday at New Gray Cemetery for a graveside service at 3 pm with Rev. Barry Culberson officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Knoxville Akima Grant Assistance Program, P.O. Box 51968, Knoxville, TN 37950.
