Myless Odell Tillman, Jr. (Mickey) class of 1955

Myless after courageously fighting pancreatic cancer for 15 months, Myless Odell (Mickey) Tillman, Jr., age 73, of Woodstock, Georgia, peacefully passed away on March 2, 2010 surrounded by family and friends. Mickey served in the United States Air Force-Military Police, worked with Knox County Sheriff's Department in Knoxville, Tennessee and also served in the United States Border Patrol in Southern California. He retired in 1999 from State Farm Insurance after 32 years of service. He was preceded in death by his father, Myless O. Tillman, Sr. and his mother, Arletta Clark Tillman. He is survived by his loving wife Connie Steel-Tillman; son Jeff Timmons and wife Donna, son, Richard Tillman and friend Danielle Spence, son, Randy Tillman; step-son, Bobby Steel and wife Cynthia, step-son Chris Steel and wife Cori; grandchildren, Alisha, Kyle and Meghan Byrne, Tyler Tillman, Katie, Jordan and Dylan Steel, Jake, Gabrielle and Bradley Steel and two great-grandchildren; sister and brother-in-law Carroll and Bobbie Keith and brother, Bill Tillman. Mickey is also survived by these very special family members and friends; Edith Mutchier, Betty Conrath, Shirley and Melvin Hall, Nancy and Bob Mock, Carolyn and Ron Long, Cheryle and Richard Engbert, Peg and Don Hyde and the Wednesday Morning Coffee Club. Mickey is also survived by many nieces and nephews. A memorial service is planned for Sunday, March 7, 2010 at Wesley Chapel UMC, 4495 Sandy Plains Road, Marietta, Georgia 30066 at 2:00 PM.
