Joan Marie Adams Toney passed away Monday, January 18, 2010. She was the daughter of Jim and Mildred Adams who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her loving husband, Joe M. Toney, Jr. and her beautiful daughter, Jill Toney Prater. She is survived by two sons, Joe M. Toney and wife Darlene of Heiskell and James Michael Toney and wife Kate of Nolensville, five grandchildren, Christina Bailey, Ashley Toney,and James, Carson and Campbell Toney; and two great grandchildren, HunterToney and Destiny Whitehead, two very special friends, brother-in-law Bill Toney and wife Linda. A special thanks to nurses at St. Mary's Hospice of Hall's and Becca with Social Services at Thompson Cancer Survival Center. There will be a private family service held at St. Luke's Episcopal Church in Cleveland, TN.
