BROCK, JAMES CLYDE, JR. - age 72 of Knoxville passed away on Tuesday August 16, 2011 at Park West Medical Center. Member of West Lonsdale Baptist Church. He enjoyed fishing, playing the trumpet, , and was an accomplished baseball player. He worked earlier in life as a barber in his father's barber shop in Burlington. Preceded in death by parents Clyde and Cleo Brock. Survived by mother of his children, Barbara Ellen Brock; sons and daughters-in-law, Chris and Ruth Brock, Doug and Tammy Brock, Greg and Diane Brock; grandchildren, Anne, Seth, and Stacy Brock. A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday at Rose Mortuary Broadway Chapel with Dr. Jerry Taylor officiating. Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to Tennessee Donor Services 7015 Middlebrook Pike Knoxville, TN. 37909.
