FERRELL, PATRICIA GALE (MARSHALL) - The life of Patricia "Pat" Ferrell, 66, who died Saturday, January 19, at Tennova West Hospital in Knoxville, TN, will be celebrated at 6:00 p.m. Thursday at The Reserve at Bluebird Hill event center, 1413 Midway Road, Lenoir City, TN. Open to the public. Pat was born in Cleveland, Tennessee, June 7, 1946 but had lived in Knoxville since 1952. She graduated from Rule High School in 1964, where she was a cheerleader and a member of the student council and various other organizations. She also attended the University of Tennessee, where she was a member of Kappa Delta sorority. She and her late husband, Bill Ferrell, owned and operated the real estate firm Bill Ferrell & Associates, which was responsible for many residential developments in and around Knoxville. Pat treasured her animals, her lifetime of freshwater and saltwater fishing adventures with her husband and sons, hosting lakefront gatherings at her home for family and friends, and her role as a faithful "first mate" in the Vol Navy aboard their 27-foot SeaRay cruiser. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her father, Ira C. Marshall. Survivors include son, Chadwick Ferrell; son and daughter-in-law, Brantley and Jennifer Ferrell; mother, Elsie Marshall; sisters and brothers-in-law, June and Tom Badgett, Lenoir City, TN, Joan and Tom Hunt, Knoxville, TN, and Carol and John Doty, Andersonville, TN; numerous nieces and nephews and their children (Scott and Carla Hunt, Rusty and Kelly Hunt, Holly Hunt, Oliver Smith IV and Sarah Smith, Dustin and Amanda Rader, Wayne and Jackie Rader, Wes and Meg Doty ); and a lengthy list of close friends.
