HUDGINS, BOBBIE JEAN - age 80, of Knoxville, passed away Monday at home. She was recently retired from the Knox County General Sessions Criminal Court Division, after more than 20 years. She attended Central Baptist Church in Fountain City. Bobbie was a beloved wife, grandmother, sister, and friend. She had a radiant and bubbly personality that endeared her to everyone she met. She was selflessly devoted to her children and grandchildren and loved them with all her heart. She was preceded in death by her parents, Luther Floyd and Vergie McKinley Fowler; her husband, Bill Hudgins; brothers, Jack and Don Fowler; and her grandson, John Brian Dunlap. She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Vicki and Gary Koontz, Susan and Jim Courtney, Rosemary and Buddy Wheeler; and daughter, Kelly Rogers; brothers and sisters-in-law, Jim and Etta Fowler, and David and Jeanette Fowler; as well as several nieces and nephews. She is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren Kelly, Rob, Mayson, and Ellajane Barger, Adam, Kayleen, and Addy Mae Weaver, Allyson, Brent, Eli, Emma, Edan, and Ezra Hodson, Bradley, Laura, Anna, and Rebekah Dunlap, Lindsey and Randy Loope, and Matthew and Olivia Wheeler. A celebration of life service will be held at 7:30 p.m., Thursday, at Clapps Chapel United Methodist Church 7420 Clapps Chapel Road Corryton, TN 37721 with Dr. Damon Patterson and Mr. Brent Hodson officiating. Family will receive friends 5:00-7:30 p.m. at Clapps Chapel United Methodist. Family and friends will meet at Clapps Chapel Cemetery at 10:45 a.m., Friday, for graveside services at 11:00.
