Trula Jean Shepard Dickenson - Class of 1982

DICKENSON, TRULA JEAN (SHEPARD) - age 50, has finished her journey here and now is in Heaven with our Father, Jesus Christ. Trula was a proud graduate of Rule High School Class of 1982. Some of her favorite passions were art, music, cooking, gardening, and animals. Trula will be watching over her daughter, Tiffany May Dickenson and her two grandchildren, Andrea Kenzi and Ashton Ryan. She will be sadly missed by her mother, Carrie Jean Shepard; brothers, Darrell (Peggy) and Claude (Kathy) Shepard; her sister, Patricia (Andy) Shepard Carter; and two step-brothers, Tom (Teresa Marie) and Tony both of MI; and Tiffany's father Mike Dickenson. Toward the later part of her life, Trula shared a love with her special friend Dennis Brummett. The bond they shared was a source of joy and strength for Trula during her final battle with cancer. Trula was blessed with many nieces and nephews that she loved dearly. We, the family, invite everyone to come and celebrate the life that was hers. The family will receive friends 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 2, 2013, in the chapel of Berry Funeral Home, 3704 Chapman Highway, with a memorial service celebrating Trula's life to follow at 7:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please honor Trula with a donation to the Thompson Cancer Survival Center or your local humane society.
