Betty S. Perry Gough - Class of around 1946

GOUGH, BETTY S. - of Ooltewah, entered into the arms of Jesus on Friday, January 17, 2014. She was 85 years old. Betty was born and raised in Knoxville, Tennessee, and graduated from Rule High School. She has been a nurse for over 38 years and was of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her husband of 28 years, Robert E. Gough, Sr. Betty is survived by her sons, Robert E. Gough, Jr. of Cleveland, and Jeff Gough of Nashville; grandchildren, Tracy Gough and Lauren Rediker; great grandchildren, Ashlyn Malone, Brenna Walker and Gavin Robert Rediker; sister, Marilyn Luther; her lifelong friend, Carol Powell of Johnson City; and many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday at the North Chapel. Services for Betty will follow at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home chapel with Reverend Jimmy Goddard officiating. Graveside service will be held on Monday at 1:00 p.m. at Hamilton Memorial Gardens. The family would like to thank Hospice of Chattanooga for their care and support during Betty's illness and they would like for you to make memorial contributions in Betty's name to Hospice of Chattanooga, PO Box 19269, Chattanooga, TN 37416. Betty S Gough full and maiden name is Betty Sue Perry
