DODSON, NANCY TILLERY "G.G. AND CHI CHI" - age 93, of Knoxville passed away March 31, 2014, at Tennova Residential Hospice after a brief illness. She was a former member of 5th Avenue Presbyterian Church, graduate of Rule High School, and retired from U.A.B./First Tennessee Bank. Preceded in death by parents, Ross and Emily Tillery; brother and sister-in-law, William and Sue Tillery; sisters and brothers-in-law, Kathryn and Lloyd Smith, Helen and James Graham, Frankie and Ernie Stanley, Bessie and Eulis King; and her beloved cat Rachel. Survived by her loving daughter and son-in-law, Kaye and Henry Durant of Helenwood, TN; grandson, Commander Robert Durant, U.S. Navy and wife Danice of Chula Vista, CA; great-granddaughters, Annie and Kayelee Durant of Chula Vista, CA; several grandcats and granddogs; several nieces and nephews; special friends, Mary Hurst, Leroy and Mary Godfrey, Molly Phibbs, Connie Davis, all of Knoxville, Gary and Tamia Bible of Helenwood, Mike Douglas and Mary Jane Sexton of Oneida. Family and friends will meet 10:45 am Saturday at Highland Memorial for 11:00 am graveside service with Rev. Martha Anne Fairchild officiating.
