DIXSON, WILLIAM (NUT), JR. - born July 11, 1958 in Knoxville, TN, departed this life on April 6, 2014. Parents; William Dixson Sr. and the late Doris K. Dixson. William was the manager of Dixson B-B-Q; loved children, people and family. Preceded in death his step-son Dex Hines. Survivors, devoted wife, Kivia Dixson; children: Kevin and Brandon Cherry, Angel, Heaven and William Dixson III, Kemisha, Akeem, Keema, Caron, Takiela Boatwright and an host of grandchildren; sisters, Sandra (Nathaniel) Daniels, Miami, Fla., Lisa (Timothy) Anderson, Bronx, NY; brother, Julian "Toby" (Betty) Dixson; close friends, Debra Haynes, Jeff Minor, Joe Sheadrick, Jessie Goins, Michael Fain, Jeff and Teresa Mills, and Darren and Audmartie Dunlap and Allen Toms; devoted cousins: Greg McCallie (Deana), Marvin Dixson and Robert Cardwell Jr., Big and Little Lawrence Dixson; God sister, Kejoria Sawyer; host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends, 6:00-7:00 p.m., Saturday at Greater Warner Tabernacle AME Zion Church, 3800 Martin Luther King Avenue; funeral service, 7:00 p.m., Pastor Tonya Tucker, officiating.
