Sandy Chapman Nichols - Class of 1965

NICHOLS, SANDRA "SANDY" CHAPMAN - age 66, of Knoxville, went into the arms of the Lord on Sunday, surrounded by her daughters. She was a most loving mother and nana, and a graduate of both Rule High School (Class of 1965), and the University of Tennessee. She recently joined Concord United Methodist Church, and was a lifetime Methodist. She worked at Arby's for many years, but was able to recently retire and devote more time to her grandchildren. Sandy was preceded in death by mother, Iona Chapman; and sister, Carole Huff. She leaves to cherish her memories: daughter, Laurie Nichols; "special daughter and favorite buddy", Susan Nichols; daughter, Allison (Jason) Chambers; grandson, Austin Boggs; granddaughters, Kinsley and Adalyn "Addy" Chambers; the father of her daughters and dear friend, Fred Nichols; loving and devoted brother, Ron Chapman; brother-in-law, Sonny Huff; nephew, Scott (Kathy) Huff; great nephews, Kyle and Zane; great niece, Molly Huff; brother-in-law, Roy (Joan) Nichols; nephew, Kris (Jane) Nichols; grandnieces, Olivia and Madeline; nephew, Joey Nichols; and uncle, Kenneth (Joann) Koontz. The family wants to send a very special thank you to Thompson Cancer West and Caris Hospice, and an extra thank you to Shelley, Denise, Wendy, and Hope. A celebration of life will be held at Concord United Methodist Church, 11020 Roane Drive, Knoxville, Tennessee, 37934, at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 17th.
