ROTH, DONALD WADE - age 74, of Knoxville, passed away suddenly on Sunday, May 11, 2014, at his home. He was a member of North Knoxville Baptist Church, Masters Lodge #244 F&AM, the Scottish Rite Bodies, and was retired from the Knoxville Fire Department with 40 years of service. Preceded in death by parents, George and Ella Roth; brother, Wayne Roth. Survived by daughter, Kellie Roth; sons, Douglas and Brent Roth; mother of his children, Sharon Roth; grandchildren, Brady Flynn and wife Stephanie, Ethan, and Colton Flynn, Emily and Halley Roth; great grandchildren, Kylee and Carlie Flynn; niece, Kim DeVault. The family will receive friends 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Thursday, at Rose Mortuary Broadway Chapel, with funeral services at 7:00 p.m., with Rev. Kenneth Dyer and Chris Dyer officiating, and Knoxville City Fire Department Honor Guard. Family and friends will meet at New Gray Cemetery, 10:45 a.m., Friday for interment at 11:00 a.m. with honors presented by Knoxville City Fire Department Honor Guard.
