I Hate to tell you that my twin sister Mary Jane Womble Lane has passed away, she went back to school and received her GEDand then she went to college and took some classes, she was a dedicated Christan all her life. She left behind her son Doug and wife Teresa Lane. She ha two very handsome son Ben.and nathan lane. She will be so missed by her family and her twin sister Jean Womble Rhea.

LANE, MARY JANE - age 68, of Knoxville, Tennessee passed away Friday morning March 14, 2014 at her home. She was a loving mother, grandmother and sister. Preceded in death by her mother, Blanche Ruth and her father Louis Freeman Womble. She is survived by her son, Doug (Teresa) Lane; her grandchildren, Benjamin and Nathaniel; father of her son, Jack (Connie) Lane; her sisters, Anna (Ray) Hensley, Jean (Robert) Rhea, Nellie (Jim) Montgomery, and Henry (Joanna) Womble; many other family, friends and her treasured pet Mr. Doodles. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 pm on Wednesday March 19, at Highland Memorial Funeral Home, 5315 Kingston Pike, Knoxville, TN 37919. A graveside service will be held at Highland Memorial Cemetery at 11:00 am on Thursday March 20.
