MOORE, WILLIAM (BILL) CECIL - age 66, of Knoxville, passed away at home on Sunday, June 22, 2014. He was a 1967 graduate of Rule High School and a U.S. Army veteran. He loved fishing, Nascar, watching Andy Griffith, and most of all spending time with his children and grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Odie Moore; mother, Mary Moore; and nephew, David Moore. Bill is survived by daughters, Kelli Ryan (George), Kasey Powers (Chris), Courtney Hempfling, Kari Moore; and beloved former wife, Gail Hipsher; grandchildren, Bailey and Daisy Ryan, Ellen Powers, Lily Hempfling, and Avalyn Christopher; siblings, James Moore, Charles Moore, Alma Everhart, Elsie Moore, Julie Maddox; and several nieces and nephews; life-long friend Bob Bradley; step sons Jason and Jonathan Ford. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, June 26, 2014, at 6:00 with a gathering of family and friends immediately following at Northwest Church of God, 5320 Pleasant Ridge Road, Knoxville 37912.
