Since I've missed knowing about several of my friend's departure from this earth, I'm trying to do a better job of scanning the obituaries. I'm sorry to say that yet another Rule High alumni has passed. I found this a few minutes ago.

LITTLE, SHARON - age 49 of Knoxville, passed away Monday June 25, 2007. Member of Belmont Heights Baptist Church. Preceded in death by, grandparents; Bernice and Jack LaBoone, Blanche and William Little, and baby sister Bernice. Survived by, parents; G.S. and Nancy Little of Knoxville; special companion, "Little Bit"; God-daughters, Chris Baker and son Nicholas of Knoxville, and Beth Gann of Loudon; brother, Buddy Little and wife Brenda of South Dakota; sister, Donna Brewer of Sweetwater; nieces, Tonya Jordan and husband Kenny and their children, Sharolyn Davis and husband Josh and their daughter; nephew, Jonathan Brewer; also four nieces and one nephew; thirteen great-nieces and nephews; and one great-great-niece; several aunts and uncles; best friends, Brenda Bozeman, Jimmy McCleary and Cathy Davis. Special thanks to the doctors and nurses of Thompson Cancer Center, also to Covenant Hospice for all their love and support during Sharon's illness. Family will receive friends Thursday June 28, 2007 from 6-8 pm with an 8 pm service in the chapel of Weaver Funeral Home , Rev. Josh Glandon officiating. Family and friends will meet at 1:15 pm Friday June 29, 2007 at Weaver Funeral Home to proceed to Highland Memorial Cemetery for a 2 pm graveside service.
