CARTWRIGHT, BETTY JANE (CLARK) - age 84, of Knoxville, passed away Friday, July 25, 2014. She was a member of Shepherd of the Hills Baptist Church (formerly Euclid Avenue Baptist Church and Park Lane Baptist Church). She was a member of the West View Community. Betty was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and sister who touched the hearts of everyone she knew with her smile. Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Carl K. Cartwright, Sr.; parents, Arthur and Edith (Bean) Clark; brother, Jack Clark; daughter-in-law, Ann Cartwright; great grandchild Ayden. She is survived by her children, Denise (Rodney) Patterson, Kenny Cartwright, Doug (Tammie) Cartwright, Allyson (Ted) Moore; grandchildren, Allen, Timothy, Star, Jeremy, Charlie, Brad, Elijah, Sophie; fourteen great grandchildren and one on the way; siblings, Eleanor Pressley and Charles (BJ) Clark. Funeral service 7:00 p.m., Monday, at Rose Mortuary Mann Heritage Chapel with Reverend Leland Lyon officiating.
