MILLER, EVA LONG - age 85 of Knoxville, passed away peacefully, Sunday, July 27, 2014. She was former member of the University Avenue Methodist Church and was retired from Sears, working at the Central Ave. location and the East Towne location. She continued working at Walgreens Drug (Northshore location) until her retirement. Eva was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Audie G. Miller; parents, Clarence L. Long, Sr. and Maude Vandergriff Long; brothers, James Long and Clarence Long, Jr. She is survived by her loving daughter and son-in-law, Diane and Bill Reagan; grandson and wife, Justin and Ellen Phillips; great-grandchildren, Hayden and Haley Phillips; sisters and brothers-in-law, Betty and Tommy Lay and Judy and John Charlton and several nieces and nephews. Graveside service 11:00 AM Wednesday at Woodlawn Cemetery with Reverend Bob Dalton officiating. The family request that memorial donations be made to the Down Syndrome Awareness Group of East Tennessee, PO Box 5375, Knoxville, TN 37950-3575 or to the Humane Society of the Tennessee Valley, 6717 Kingston Pike, Knoxville, TN 37919.
