Jackie Andrew “Jack” Daniel, age 65, of Hiram, GA passed away on Sunday, November 30, 2014. Funeral Services will be held at 1pm on Thursday, December 4, 2014 at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta with Rev. Joe Pritchard officiating. Interment will follow at Sweetwater Memorial Park in Hiram.

Born and raised in Knoxville, TN, Mr. Daniel moved to Dallas, GA 30 years ago from Marietta, GA. He retired from the United States Postal Service after 35 years as a mail carrier, then worked as a ice cream salesman for Premium Distributors for the past 10 years. He was very active in sports in Paulding County, where he was the president of the South Paulding Touchdown Club and the South Paulding Tip-Off Club. He also coached baseball, basketball and softball, and has an award named after him called the Jack Daniel Community Service Award for South Paulding Middle School. He was also a member of New Covenant Fellowship Church.

Survivors: Wife, Rose Daniel; 2 Children, Carley Daniel and Tony Daniel, both of Hiram, GA; 3 Brothers, Joe (Sandra) Daniel, Les (Carolyn) Daniel and Harold Lee (Wanda) Daniel, all of Knoxville, TN; Sister, Fran McDonald, Fayetteville, GA; Sister-in-Law, Tracie (David) Tull, Powder Springs, GA, and many Nieces and Nephews.
