McGINLEY, MRS. KATHRYN "KATHY" GODFREY - passed away December 26, 2014. She was born on January 14, 1947, to the late Bruce and Marguerite Godfrey. Mrs. McGinley was a longtime member of Valley Grove Baptist Church where she taught 4 year old Sunday school for decades and worked Mother's Day Out. She also had her master's degree in education and taught at various Christian schools including Harrison-Chilhowee. She is survived by loving husband, Jimmie McGinley; daughter, Beth Ann (Jay) Bourne; sons, David Sr. (Jamie) McGinley and Mark (Sharon) McGinley; brothers, William "Bill" Godfrey and Billy E. Godfrey; sister-in-law, Debbie Godfrey; and grandchildren, Ethan, Ellie, Megan, David Jr., and Isabelle. In lieu of flowers, please send memorials to Camp Ba Yo Ca "Child to Camp Fund" 2320 Happy Hollow Rd. Sevierville, TN 37862. Visitation will be held Monday, December 29th, from 4:00 - 6:00 p.m. at Valley Grove Baptist Church with funeral services beginning at 6:00 p.m. Graveside services will be held Tuesday, December 30th, at 11:00 a.m. in the Berry Highland South Cemetery.
