Wayne Heatherly - Class of 1960
Posted: Sun Jun 21, 2015 3:09 pmWayne H. Heatherly, age 73 of Knoxville, went to be with his Heavenly Father on Friday, June 19, 2015. On February 5, 2015 Wayne retired from Frazier's Carpet after 33 years of service. He was a member of the Elks Lodge.
Preceded in death by parents, William and Naomi Heatherly; brothers, Burness, Orville and Louis. Survived by his loving wife, Kaye; sons and daughters-in-law, Michael and Brenda and Mark and Lora; grandchildren, Tamara Cagle, Shane, Tiffany, Sarah and Zachary Heatherly; sisters, Pauline Hughes and Carolyn and her husband Sam Coley; several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends 5:00-7:00 pm Monday at Weaver Funeral Home. Family and friends will meet at 11:45 am Tuesday at Highland Memorial Park for a 12 pm graveside service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Elks Lodge for Ben Atchley State Veterans Home or to a charity of your choice .
