David Lynn Neely, Sr - Class of 1951
Posted: Sat Jul 11, 2015 2:42 pmDavid Lynn Neely, Sr., age 82, of Knoxville, passed away Wednesday, July 8, 2015. He was a Korean War veteran serving in the Marine Corps. He was a member of Faith United Methodist Church, retired from Roma Hass Company and instrumental in the founding of Halls youth football program.
Preceded in death by wife, Betty Lynn Neely (Storm); parents, Walter and Edith Neely; and son, Steven Neely. Survived by son, David Neely Jr.; daughter, Jennifer Moore; grandchildren, Keely, Kaylyn and Braden Moore.
Funeral services will be held 7:00 p.m., Saturday at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel, with Rev. Mark Dowell officiating.
