Jimmy Wayne Miller, Sr., age 70 of Powell, passed away July 10, 2015 at Ft. Sanders Hospital. He served in The United States Air National Guard and retired from Knoxville Utilities Board. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Powell, he enjoyed volunteering at the Baptist Center in Western Heights and was the owner of Steam Boat Deli in Powell and enjoyed meeting and talking with the patrons. Preceded in death by parents, T.C. and Goldy Miller and brother Daryl Miller. Survivors, wife of 49 years, Joann Miller, son, Jimmy Miller, son and daughter-in-law, Kenny and Laura Miller; grandchildren, Zach, Madison, Jonah and Anna Miller, sister and brother-in-law, Linda and Stanley Joyce. Service 7pm Tuesday at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel, Rev. Phil Jones officiating. Family and friends will meet 9:45am Wednesday at Greenwood Cemetery for interment service at 10am. Family will receive friends 5 to 7pm Tuesday at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel.
