Wayne Dwight Haynes, age 65, of Knoxville went home to be with the Lord on Monday August 31, 2015. He was of the Baptist faith, and retired from the City of Knoxville Fire Department.

Preceded in death by parents, Ernest and Doris Haynes; brother, Ernie Haynes; Granny Haynes; and Marie Day. He is survived by wife, Deborah Haynes; son and daughter-in-law, Chris and Tamra Haynes; daughter and daughter-in-law, Ashley and Sunny Baccus; brother and sister-in-law, Craig B. and Brenda Haynes; grandchildren, Brooke and Alex; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Thursday September 3, 2015, at Rose Mortuary Broadway Chapel. A funeral service will follow at 7:00 p.m. with Chaplain Paul Trumpore and Rev. Frank Sellers officiating. The family and friends will meet at 9:45 a.m., Friday September 4, 2015, at Rose Mortuary Broadway Chapel to travel in procession to Chilhowie Cemetery for an 11:00 a.m. interment service.
